It's AE and it's an Embraer jet.

I think its a RJ ..this week.
Check back in a month or so It might be a 172 or maybe
Greyhound. I am sure your 500 hour wonder will get you through
that level 6 thats in the way.

un-av8tr4aa,

You are really calling the kettle black. American is rated one of the worst in accidents. Look at 1970-St. Thomas, 1976-St. Thomas, 1995-Hartford, 1995-Cali, 1999-Little Rock. I can go on, but I think you get the point.

You forgot American Airlines Flight 587 (A-300) in Queens, NY Oct or Nov 2001.

The crew ended up in (and out of) the trees on the Rwy 15 approach ridge line. They put a few saplings through the motors and ended up landing short of the runway. I remember the CNN footage showing a 4" tree embedded in the wing's leading edge.

I flew a -200 into Providence that night and didn't have much fun either.

Default You missed the point

I am only commenting on how Eagle (and everyone else)
Will hire ANYONE with little or no experience.
In fact I heard the first interview question is
"How little money will you work for?"
In my crash pad there is a RJ Captain that
just turned 23 years old! Now do you think he is a
experienced pilot? He wasn't even old enough to BE a pilot
when I got my AIRLINE JOB.

That is my point, so back down on the AA record.
I would take my chances with a experienced crew ANYDAY
over some backpack toting,Oakley wearing, cellphone talking,
no dues paying,punk a$$ kid .
