Hmm… let’s think about this. Unemployment up… home foreclosures up… available credit down… disposable income down. Do you really think the general public really cares about the plight of the pilot’s salary? Wait... heres a novel idea... more informational picketing in front of people who really care… fellow pilots.

They give you those pay raises because they look at the cost of giving you the raise over the cost if they didn't.

Cost of giving you a raise = cost of giving you a raise

Cost if they don't = cost if they don't
