ATI is a 121 scheduled freight company with the DC-8 fleet homebased. That fleet operates out of a hub in Toledo where the sort happens, and where reserves sit. The new 767 fleet is part home based and part MIA based depending on different scheduled contracts.

I hear ya but homebasing is an increase in pay. Paid to go to work no crashpads etc.

Yes, but only for those that commute. The pilot payroll is one big number split into many different sections. If one of those sections is home basing, that amount comes from the rest of the "pie"...
