Good! I don't care if those guys want to sue, but it costs the union money to defend against their lawsuits. When will they give up? (Or better yet, retire )

Yes this is good for the youger guys...... The TDC was setup for guys who don't have much/anything coming from the old DC. This at least allows them to have something. Basically the funds are (5%?) of the total pilot groups salary which is targeted by YOS and old DC amount. The idea was to try and get an equitable solution for all pilots. The guys that sued were mostly folks that had a FULL DC but wanted to get more and sued to get the 5% slit up based on salary among all pilots regardless of their DC amount.

The guys that it actually helps are the older guys without a full pension. I am a younger pilot with no pension. I would actually be getting more if we didn't have the TDC and just went with the DAL 12%. The idea was a good one, in the fact that the plan was to try and get us all to 50% of FAE, however the plan was woefully underfunded right from the start. Right when my accumulation is supposed to significantly increase, the plan will be terminated and roll right into the DAL plan.

It is not something that is currently helping the younger pilots.... just adding some facts here.

I guess it depends on what one calls youger guys...... I consider myself young on the FNWA side and it helps me out quite a bit.

True....

Also, I am not complaining about this either, it was set up to help all of us out and in the long run, it would have been good for me also. I am happy for the guys like you that it is helping.
