Jesus!

I was a former Pace Driver and left back in 2006. I was there when it had promise and seen how brooks tore it apart. Never in a million years would I have suspected this kind of an end. There are just no words. If I were stuck without 5 weeks of pay I would be looking for serious retribution.

My heart goes out to those left at Pace right to the end. It was a privelege to have flown with a great group of guys and gals. I am currently unemployed myself and know how painful this economy is.

Unless there is some miracle, and I do mean miracle, this looks to be the last of Pace in the news as a going concern.

I will forever remember the good times had as an ATL VE based pilot back when it was the hub!

God speed everyone!

Anybody remember Planet Airways, MAXjet, Trans Maridien? As the old saying goes... same airline but different paint job.

An attorney I've been dealing with says that Pace filed for bankruptcy protection this week. Anybody hear anything? Looks like we might have to take our case to the bankruptcy court now, regarding our back pay.

do you know if it was ch7 or ch11? big difference. not sure how wages would figure into deals being made with the judge by the trustee. debts from creditors can be widdled down to cents on the dollar. don't know the law about wages.

can you ask your lawyer friend what city he filed in? i would assume winston salem, but if he moved the address to kansas city, it could be there

I've been out of touch since the airframe our group was dealing with has been moved. The sources I have can't find any filing anywhere and potential investor contacts state they are not aware of any filings. Given the fact that they talk to the only person who has an airframe on Pace's certificate, I would think that they would know.

Just what those "in the know" are saying....and I'm not one of those individuals.

What airframe do we have that's keeping the cert. alive?

Interesting, I think I need to call this lawyer back. I wonder where he got this information from.

The only remaining airframe on the Pace certificate, to my knowledge, is N767MW, the B-767. That airframe will remain on the certificate "to keep it alive" until the potential investor group makes a decision whether they want to proceed with a possible acquisition. In my personal opinion, that option becomes slimmer every day.
