Not being told anything, other than they're keeping six guys. I think Dallas is furloughing too. Ownership hasn't changed, still the aviation enthusiast from Kansas City. Thanks for the well wishes

According to the N.C. Dept. of Labor, a full scale investigation is being conducted of Mr. Bill Rogers Sr. (CEO) and Mr. Darrell Richardson (President) along with other "key officers". That investigation, with help from federal agencies, should conclude on or after September 25th. An educated guess is that the company will voluntarily surrender the certificate either tomorrow or later this week for a period of up to 90 days. During that time, things will be sorted out and my guess if that the "Fire Sale" will begin. I believe a lot depends on the actions taken by the N.C. Dept. of Labor, in conjunction with federal authorities. In reading the tea leaves, both the 757 and 767 in the Dallas operation are being taken care of but neither will be under Pace's certificate....at least for now. There are allegedly two different investor groups looking at the Pace certificate and no, the "Dallas Mavericks guy" is not in either group. I'm just reading the trades and the tea leaves. G'Luck to all Pace employees.:) |
Thanks for the updates Phantom. Wonder who MLW will switch over to if they surrender the cert.

Looks like your tea leaves are newer than mine!

Yup. Dallas got sent. Kept a couple guys and ladies. For what, I don't know. Whatever plans for MLW jets there are, it does not include the crew. Had fun at Pace........ Farewell!

Both aircraft are owned by MLWAir and I would imagine that the Mavericks aircraft (757) will be placed on a 125 certificate so that they can cover the Mavericks upcoming schedule. That would necessitate a small number of pilots, flight attendants and mechanics remaining with the aircraft. As for Pace, what a &^%$#@ mess. It's hard to believe that one man could destroy an entire company in less that 110 days. I'm sure Pace employees would love to string Darrell Richardson up for bringing this imbecile onto the property. G'Luck Pace employees:) |
are you kidding? hard to believe? As an officer, when you direct someone in payroll to write a check , unless that someone in payroll doesn't like her job, she'll do it. what is hard to believe is how someone would think that 450 people wouldn't need their weekly check... and that September was to be "growth month" AAAAHHHHHH September...here we are and we're F'ed.
it is in the rearview. what we all need to do is get over it...and go take that trip to somehwere way out in then boonies and decide what to do next...got that advice today.... |

I agree that's probably a record, but I'm still amazed (and disgusted) at how fast the "money men" destroyed Midwest Airlines. |
