Delta-Northwest merger pits Coke against Peps
#21
Why can't places just serve both? I get so sick of going somewhere that has only Coke or only Pepsi. You either like one or the other so they automatically make some people unsatisfied with their choices. I think it would be a great marketing tool to advertise that we serve both. I say have Coke and Pepsi with their diet equivalents, Mt. Dew, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, and the usual choice of juices.

Coke has and always will be better than Pepsi....I mean Pepsi had Michael Jackson and Brit Spears....White trash and a Pendafile!!! Coke a more classy COLA has always steered in the right direction...Oh and it tastes much better!

I used to always drink Coke when it came in the bottle. When they switched to cans, the flavor got bitter to me so I switched to Pepsi and found that it tasted much better out of the can than Coke did.

There are strict laws governing just what a Bourbon must be to be labeled as such. For example,
- Bourbon must be made of a grain mixture that is at least 51% corn.
- Bourbon must be distilled to no more than 160 (U.S.) proof (80% alcohol by volume).
- Bourbon must be 100% natural (nothing other than water added to the mixture). Nothing can be added at bottling to enhance flavor, add sweetness or alter color.
- Bourbon must be aged in new, charred oak barrels.
- Bourbon may not be introduced to the barrel at higher than 125 proof (62.5% alcohol by volume).
- Bourbon which meets the above requirements and has been aged for a minimum of two years, may (but is not required to) be called Straight Bourbon.
- Bourbon aged for a period less than four years must be labeled with the duration of its aging.
