From the site: "A Pet Attendant monitors and checks the comfort of all pawsengers every 15 minutes during the flight. After landing, pets will be disembarked, given a potty break, and will be available for pickup at the Pet Lounge."

You mean the pilot? God could you imagine the smell on these birds? How do you "check a pet for comfort" anyway? This has got to be one of the more ridiculous things I've ever seen.

Q: What do you do for a living?
A: Oh me? I'm a Pet Attendant/Pilot for Pet Airways

Try explaining that one to the chick at the bar.

I used to see familys at the freight dock waiting for Fido. I always hoped the hotel van would show before the dog was brought out, you can imagine after 15 hours in a kennel. Some of the breeders would be washing them down in the parking lot before they put the dog in their car.

I'm glad to see somebody doing something new in this economy. Anything is better than nothing. I would rather fly dogs than sit around reading the job classifieds. Just saying.

Good luck to them.

from the policy manual... "CASS jumpseaters are allowed, contingent upon showing proof their rabies shots are up to date, and they are free from fleas."

Flying trans cont in a 1900, doesn't sound too bad at all.
