I have been here almost 14 years and I have NEVER seen such a small award/displacement.

3 757 captain's displaced from block to reserve.
2 757 captain's displaced to widebody FO. (But, I think they could have held their position on reserve.)
The majority of the rest are return displcaements to the 320 in MSP.

I am with you on the "don't blink"! I actually reloaded the list again as I thought something was wrong.

Joint AE will probably start this fall to early winter. I am sure as soon as you are done with INDOC you will be on the DAL cert.
No need to do more training than necessary.

FWIW, this may be a good indications of possible high end buyouts.

I posted also on what's the latest at Dal but I heard a bad rumor that they announcing the closing of Anc tomorrow. However, I also heard they are going to offer high-incintive Perps to about 300 guys.

The ANC news is kinda expected. The Buyouts would be good news because i have flown and talked with a bunch of people that are hoping for them. I'd be surprised if they offered that many though because they could find themselves shorthanded come next year. We'll see

Heard by a DAL N guy and a DAL S guy. I hope they will. I'm not sure a lot of the Freighter guys want to do the pax flying. It's kind of a different world up there in ANC. Guess we will find out eventually.

The weirdest thing is that the number of ANC SOs on reserve grew for August. Why would that be if they are planning on dumping the base? To make the end date the same for everyone? I cant figure.

Personally, I would think they would want to hold us off till after SOC and train us once. I know for myself I will get dumped to the DC9 and then bid LA on the next APA. They should save themselves the hassle of 300 double trainings. Probably not actually 300 but a lot.

Dang, there's one DAL-N guy coming to one of the West coast bases. I think that us DAL-S guys are going to be slaughtered after SOC by all of the DAL-N guys coming into LAX and SLC. Anyone have any info on crashpads in MSP??

Thought I was toast for sure, but no one in my category got bumped, but I WANT to get displaced (figures, huh?), because when seperate B/R goes away, I'll be on reserve fo'sure.

I have heard about the early out program. It COULD include goodies such as no percentile hit on early outs, and a return to the old fNWA medical for retirees. If true, then I could see 300 easy.

We'll see. I think we've all heard the "mass exodus" song before.
