Default A Little Help...

Hey guys,

I'm doing a project on airline expansion. The goal of the project is to pick an airline and basically come up with a way to expand an airline within 10 years. I decided to pick Frontier because I'm playing this smart. They have one hub in DEN and all I have to do is pick a viable city to create a 2nd hub. More than likely it'll be east of the Mississippi. I was thinking about CVG and the future of Delta/Comair there. How long do you think Delta/Comair will remain a big staple in CVG with DTW up north and ATL down south? If it's not long, I was thinking that Frontier could move into there. This is just a project, not a "What I think will happen".

Could I get some oppinions? I have over the weekend to finalize my airline. Maybe someone else has a better airline to choose. Thanks for the help.

Another guy in my class picked Midwest. He said all he has to do is get RAH to do all of his flying, I told him that was a cheap shot btw.

Thanks alot,

The best entertainment in aviation right now, is watching United evolve into a low cost carrier.

If the price of hydrocarbons goes back up, Frontiers time will be limited. SWA it already making moves.

Survival of the fittest.

how about PIT? its efficient and empty. you'll have to plan around the taxes there, but they may be able to negotiate since the airports a ghost town now.

PIT was 2nd on my list. But I was thinking I'd rather save jobs if Delta was pulling out. Get what I mean?

I know SWA is moving in for the kill in DEN...that's why creating the hub in CVG would work to there advantage, no SWA mini hub.
