DAL Waiting until after SOC to cancel 787s?
Just heard that the 787 simulator in MSP is being dismantled and given back to Alteon for use as spare parts.
Sounds like the precursor to cancelling the orders for 787-8. I am guessing they will wait until after SOC because they want SOC to go as smoothly as possible without making any group mad. Next comes the battle over "replacement aircraft." I wonder how much the assessments will be... |
Oh Boy.
FWIW, they can configure a 777 sim for the 787. Stand by for incoming! |

There were some pieces off when I was in DC9 Requal at the begining of this month.

Maybe they are finally going to get rid of a few of the L15 sims here in ATL! ;)

I was told NWA only rented that space out to Alteon for that sim. Maybe they just dont need it there anymore cause no one is using it. Who knows

The mofo has gotta fly first... then we can get on to further delaying the deliveries of it, haha.
I swear they are trying to one-up airbus on delays. |
In May they had the wall down to remove/replace the visual I believe. At least that was the official word at that time. Has anything else been alluded/leaked at Natco???
|
They are making room for a new DC-9 or 175 sim! SIM Bay space is a very tight commodity.
