I usually just read while bored on overnights. I usually never even login. I had to reset password just to remember it.

Your statement is very inaccurate. In the ASA signed between RAH and Midwest and made public 9/3/08 stated that"the agreement has a term of ten years. However Midwest can elect to convert the ASA into a long term aircraft lease. The 12 E170s would be leased from Republic for the remaining duration of the ASA and operated on the Midwest Airlines operating certificate".

The opportunity was there for Midwest to take these airplanes and continue on.

I am assuming that the effort was made with the pilot group to negotiate these aircraft as well as the FAA to place these on the certificate.

As for BB, WH or the RAH pilot group. Your frustrations should be placed first and foremost towards TPG. The failure in renegotiating the lease with Boeing started the plummet.

As for the impending furloughs with the removal of the 717s, this was the case from the announcement of the return of the aircraft.

All I know is how I feel about the situation as well as what I am told by our integration committee. I do want a "fair and equitable" integration. I do want this with all parties involved (Frontier, Midwest, Lynx, and Mokulele). Our integration committee will proceed with this as one process with all parties involved.

This has gone on longer than I wanted but let me reiterate the point. Midwest had to option, per the ASA signed between RAH and Midwest, to have those aircraft of the Midwest Certificate. I also know the time frame to achieve that was at minimum 18 months.

My post is not inaccurate. The Midwest pilots could be flying the 170's and 190's on their certificate for the exact amount of money the Republic pilots fly them for. They refused to modify their contract. You see the end result.

Look, I am not going to get on a p*****g match, you know what I mean. My statement was in sympathy to the MidWest pilots loosing their jobs to Republic pilots.

Cheers.

So because you are sympathetic to their plight you throw the word scab around.

Hopefully all the great pilots at Midwest will be able to achieve what Frontier insisted would be fair SWA. It sure is funny how the F9 guys don't want any RAH or Midwest guys to infringe on their territory. Good luck Midwest!

Is any of this different then what happened when Midwest brought on SKW and make skyway shut their doors? Did the MidWest pilots cry for those guys? I don't have a dog in the fight, just trying to see the whole picture when the shoe is on the other foot why does it feel funny? This will continue to go on! Good luck to all.

Wrong

Midwest pilots were offered "take it or leave it" the Republic 51-78 seat rate for all flying. E170 and E190. No aircraft or seat limit if I remember correctly.

It's called a "whip-saw" against the industry average pay for the E190.

That's actually exactly what he said...
