Anyone know if December is better, or should I pay an extra 300 for a confirmed seat? Any stories are appreciated...

August is tough because of the Bon season, very busy at the airports. In December, you are competing with all the Yanks living there. Huge #s of military folks/families going home for the holidays. Been there, done that, buy a ticket for a confirmed seat if you need to get out.
