Ramp Agents and Flight Benefits?

Ramp Agents and Flight Benefits?
Hi,
I was wondering if Part-Time ramp agents at a Legacy get any type of flight benefits? Even like 25% off or something? Because I really want to become a ramp agent or work for an airline in some capacity when I turn 18 and I was wondering if they got benefits. Also, how hard are ramp agent jobs to come by? Because I've been looking on airlines websites and have not seen one in cleveland or akron for months.
Thanks!

I am not sure about part time benifits, i imagine it varies by airline, as does the pass policy. Work at outstations are increasingly outsourced to contractors which typically offer no benifits to part or full time workers.
Good luck with your search!

getting a ramp position at Continental in CLE should be pretty easy, since turn over on the ramp is high. keep looking as spring approaches.

Dang, I was really hoping on getting a job at CLE. Yeah, I did see the part time and full time ramper positions at Columbus but that would be a 2 hour commute for me . I guess I will look for jobs at Akron reigonal now. Would it be worth it too wait it out for any job in CLE with Continental or should I just get a job at Akron and gain airline experience. Because my plan is to fly for continetal in the future ( 10+ years away) and I thought working for them could only help.
Thanks

I'm a ramper/CSA for Allegiant in BLI and love it. At least for us, the flight benefits are pretty universal for everyone in the company. (except jumpseat benefits of course).
I know Allegiant flies into both Toledo, and Youngstown, but I would imagine both destinations use contracted companies.
Good luck!
