Delta bases
Hey all, I tried searching for it, but to no avail. I'm looking for the thread that listed all the Delta pilot bases which included the aircraft type with the junior/senior numbers for each.
Anyone know where this is hiding? Thanks! |
It'll be switching around come next year after SOC and the joint bids start happening.

Don't have time to do the seniority, but here are the aircraft:
ATL- M88, 73N, 767, 7ER, 765, 777 DTW- DC9, 320, 755, 330, 744 MSP- DC9, 320, 755, 330 NYC- M88, 73N, 7ER MEM- DC9, 320 CVG- M88/90, 73N, 7ER SLC- M88/90, 73N, 767 SEA- 330 LAX- 73N, 7ER Translation- DC9- The guys with maps, E6B's and lots of chest hair. M88- MD88 (MD90 qualified bases are CVG and SLC) 73N- 737-700/800 320- A319/320 755- 757 domestic and worldwide qualified 767- 767/757 "domestic" (dont wander farther than 3 degrees south of the equator and no full ocean crossings 7ER- 767/757 domestic and worldwide qualified 765- 767-400 777- yup. 744- 747-400 755 guys will changeover to 7ER early next year. The SLC M88/90 base will be shifting to MSP...and an equal amount of 320 drivers will head out to SLC from MSP. Those are the only changes that are in stone. |
Cory - I see similar posts from you about several airlines. Do you fly for Delta?
If so, you can look this up in DBMS and it has been published in several locations. The thing is, it takes a lot of research and it changes with every bid. If you are already a Delta pilot, it would make it more worthwhile for someone to look up all that for you. |

Hi everyone. First post, but I wanted to get a little feedback. I won't even bother with flightinfo, and APC seems a little more positive than the other site.
So, I'm 18, and am leaving for Navy bootcamp on Monday. I have a four-year enlistment, and want to go to the airlines when I get out. I'm a person who likes to have a good plan, but I want to get some feedback from people who can relate to what I am planning on doing. Like I said, Navy for 4 years, and during that time I plan and taking online classes, and using the Navy college program to earn an AA degree, 100% paid BTW, and also fly off the side whenever I'm not working and out at sea (which may be pretty rare), I have about 65 hours already, and I'm darn close to getting my PPL. My plan is to have an AA and at least a CPL SEL-I when I get out with about 300TT, and go to Ari or Skymates (expects GI bill funding) and go through their CFI course, then CFI until I have upwords of 1200-1300TT with some solid ME and instrument under my belt, then apply to the regionals. Being from Michigan, it would be awesome to go back and fly for Pinnacle. From what I hear that place sucks right now, but hey anything's better than working 16 hour days and living on a ship for 4 years right? Thats my plan guys/gals, and if anyone did the military enlisted route, and then to the airlines, I'd certainly appreciate and advice or basically what you did. Or if anyone has any advice. If my "plan" seems unrealistic, let me know. Thanks! Cory K. |
Nope, not a Delta pilot... obviously from the above posters reference. I just remember reading a thread that had that information. (I think it was Delta). I was just curious how the different categories fell in different bases and how many and how big they are. I wasn't looking for someone to create a whole new thread, but rather point out where the current, "old" one is.
Thanks! :-) |
Expect to see CVG closing as a 767ER base...the only flight this airplane operates out of cvg is to paris...which will probably be moved to the world gateway=detroit...which operates 18 international daily departures for delta and 1 for another skyteam member.

I think it is rational conjecture.
Everything I've heard from Flt Ops Mgmt suggests CVG will see a lot of RJ changes (Comair coming back home from NYC) and the mainline side will be remain the same. |
