Default AirTran training in 2010

Wondering if any of you guys at the Tranny hearing anything about possible hiring/training of pilots in 2010. I thought I read there was an HR Rep at a FltOps seminar and someone mentioned the possibility of a training class for those in the "pool" in 2010. Thoughts?

Floy (CP) and Stephanie are going to be at the job fair in NYC, but supposedly it's for information/PR only.

We are upgrading again, posted 25 slots for 71/73 CAs in the last two months with a few more to come. So far, on the FO side, it's only led to guys changing planes for schedule/QOL reasons.

It wouldn't surprise me if we recalled the rest of the Furloughed guys (the ones that bypassed) and brought on new folks, but no official announcements.

Has there been any official word on the pilots that were on the last posted list of the upcoming interview calls? Is that list still hanging around to be looked at when hiring resumes, or has that list of names been put aside?

A bunch going through upgrade training in Jan, and four are coming back from leave then also. Training for all four positions.

Got the call today, after the recall letter last week. They offered a Jan class, but I'm under contract still. They are asking all who bypassed, I've got a hunch they'll start draining the pool soon.

Is your hunch based upon anything other than just a hunch?

Ray, I just like shooting you down on principle! /

I have given up trying to figure out what is happening around here. Now I am just trying to survive our RSV system.
