AJT jumpseaters out of MIA

It has come to the attention of the Amerijet crews, who recently struck for higher wages and better QOL, that several scabs have been jumpseating on AirTran, Delta, and United out of MIA. Please everyone, ask any AJT jumpseater what their current status is with respect to the strike. Obviously, people can misrepresent themselves, but some of these scabs are so delusional that they will tell you the truth. One of them even asked to be an IBT steward! Most of the scabs were commuters, and they deserve some sort of pain for their actions.

Thanks

Thanks

I will certainly ask.

Amerijet does not appear to have a reciprocal jumpseat agreement with Delta (at least I cannot find them on the list). They were not on the NWA list, either. NWA used to keep a current list of approved airlines in the FOM. Delta has chosen not to do that in their FOM, so there is no way to readily verify jumpseat eligilibity. Makes it tough on the Captain to verify the privilege is not being abused.

I just checked the lastest update which is June 23, 2009 and Amerijet is not on the Delta reciprocal/CASS jumpseat flowback list.

The info is on the DeltaNet. I just periodically print out a copy and leave it in the flightbag. The carriers on it change faster than a revision cycle for the FOM.

Make sure to ask for their IBT Union Card. Scabs will not have one.

Do not let Amerijet scabs jumpseat anywhere, ever.
