Give Helen a break. She may have been up all night worrying about Mr. Tinkles and his hairball attack back at the ranch.

Quote: Think its called a "mature" workforce. Probably if we had to work in the back or at the geat, we might get cranky some of the time.
Ya think??? I couldn't do it no way no how!

Didn't you know? You're susposed to have a work email in order to get an account here. No yahoo, gmail, etc.

What a bunch of crap.

Sorry to sound caustic, but seriously, who on this forum cares about your in-flight incident on American ? I agree with several others, if we did care.....some aspects of this "story" simply don't add up.

Well, did he get his orange juice or not? This story has no closure.

"At one point Helen went into the cockpit to talk to the captain.'
Unlikely. Just someone trying to get a free ticket.

Heyas,

For a second I thought this was airliners.net or flyertalk.com.

Those two venues are probably more appropriate.

If you want to sort out the deluge of spammers that come with freemail accounts I'd consider changing the policy.

I like the over-worked under-appreciated mature work force crazy cat rancher theory.

Quote: My thought as well..

Although I do have to say that I see my fair share of burned out p/o'ed F/A's now days on every airline I ride on. I was on SWA last week and the pair on there working the back could have been poster children ( Dallas based go figure) for old, mean, ugly UAL girls. I never used to see that on SWA. Times they are a changing.

IMO nasty F/A's are the number one problem with customer service in this industry.
She was working f/c and if she snapped working that section of the a/c I would hate to see her reaction working in tourist class and having a meltdown.
Used to be a time when this type of behavior by employees to customers would get you shown the front door, my how times have changed .
