This will be a great deal for us! Think about it . Alaska can fly all of DAL's passengers into LAX providing much needed feed for the Virgin flights. Think of all the new pilot jobs at Virgin and Alaska DAL can help create, and its also great for Delta Pilots because of........, umm, well you know, .........give me a second here, ........well it just must be good if DALPA buys off on it.

you forgot to mention that the profit sharing will be at least as large as the upgrade you won't get to something higher paying.

Then a JV might make it work for both airlines. Assuming we have an agreement on the metal used, it could be OK for the pilots as well. I'd rather have 50% than zero.
