It's been at least 3 1/2 years ago....I followed British Airways (speedbird) from just south of STL into ORD. As I recall, it was pretty late at night...around 9:00-10:00 pm. He originated from DTW. I querried ATC as to his point of departure, as it seemed a bit out of the way for them. I don't know how that (these) event is not fifth-freedom flying (cabatoge). Anyone with any ideas on these?

Ding ding ding! Except this is a freighter... so substitute "passengers" for "freight."
They drop stuff off in SEA... head on to ATL...drop more off there, pick up stuff.... back to SEA.... pick up more freight...and back home.
