I say we pay our returning service men/women who have experience as foot solders (Sergeants, etc) in Iraq and Afghanistan a solid wage (Starting at $70K++ or so), give them the weight of our military plus an M16 and let them do our screening and profiling. It’s a start.

So I was in the ATL Pilots Lounge this evening ... not a word about this going on, despite some heavy hitters being there passing out food.
I had seen it online and had not thought anything of it because it seemed like a stupid prank (firecrackers).

If you people remember, on a WN flight a few years back the fellow passengers beat that guy that tried to get into the cockpit...
No need for a holding cell.
By the way the media coverage on this story is some of the worst I have ever seen in 25 years of this miserable industry. Then again, how would you like to staff a business in Atlanta (CNN) on Christmas?

That was then. Now, apparently in 2009, only one out of 278 people went after the guy. People are getting lax again.
