Flying for this alter-ego is worse than crossing a picket line. I'm furloughed and would never think of sinking to such a low.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong -- but isn't this permitted under the UAL pilot contract?

This is truly a sad tale of our times. Maybe now people will see the negative precedent that was set by gojets and freedom A, and how it has spread through out the industry all the way to the majors.

Alter-egos are destroying this industry. What we need is a master list for anyone that works for them (gojets, UA-Air Lingus alter ego) or has worked for them (freedom A).

Couldn't agree more.

Soooo why didn't the mainline union groups stand up and be counted? I mean this did not just start last year. So why the sudden shock and humiliation? These bit@h sessions are just as exciting as a hen party.

So UAL going to the TSA alterego is ok but now all of a sudden alteregos are bad? Like somebody said, it's only bad when it effects them.

So how do you suggest mainline union groups stand up and be counted?

I was at TSA when the GoJet disaster was born and am now furloughed from a major - I have been on "both" sides of the issue and it looks the same to me.

How many current guys with 330 types are on the street? I doubt anyone at Delta North or LCC will leave their seat to go there...
