Question for the SWA pilots - after all the RNP training is completed this Spring, are the glass displays going to be PFD/ND like on the top of the linked photo? Or are they still going to be the traditional round gauges displayed on the glass, like on the bottom of the linked photo?

Thank you for the reply about my original question regarding the displays. |

And I could not agree with you more regarding your quote! Working for SWA may not be what some/many/most pilots want, but I for one, can't wait to get my chance!

Pipe is a FedEx guy. Although he probably hasn't flown a 737, he likely knows what he's talking about when he talks about retrofitting old airplanes.
No, that isn't a shot at FedEx. FedEx was one of my top 2 choices when I was putting out aps. Just putting his comment in a perspective that I previously lacked. Plenty of turds being polished as they come online at FedEx. |

For you SWA flyers...
Any thoughts on what the future plans hold for SWA and aircraft types? After the 737NG? ATW Daily News |
