I wouldn't call them a "new" start up, they've been trying for a few years.

Why do so many people keep falling for the "747 Startup" Scam? Over and over and over again.

Sounds like this poster is doing his/her research on the subject before "falling for" the scam. Maybe anyone with information on this subject could *educate* the poster, thus stopping the scam? Education....a powerful antidote.

WOW. I can't believe that Baltia is still trying to get capitalized and make yet another run at starting flight operations. If nothing else, they deserve a lot of credit for tenacity! This is like a "bad penny" that just keeps coming back.

Baltia made, to my knowledge" their first effort in the late 1980's or very early 1990. They could not secure the necessary financing and there have been several attempts since then. It sounds good on the surface but they can never get the financing, aircraft loans and necessary backing to make this happen.

For my two cents, I'd be leary of Baltia but one thing is for sure. This is NOT a "new start-up".
