I didnt publish this, our union did. I also wish it had numbers for recent future. (apparently not many if its five 2 years from now)

Hey I was depressed at our numbers, but man, you need to merge with LLC-East to up em numbers. I keed I keed. :D

How many pilots does AA have on furlough? Simple math dictates they won't be hiring for a long time. Hang in there everybody, that shortage will be here someday. Just seven or more eight years.

I thought with the merger you guys were suppose to have a steady stream of retirements? First nwa and then delta.

You assume everyone will go to 65 which is very unlikely. Avg will be 62.5ish

We're already seeing a constant stream of retirements. It will only increase from this point forward. We're 2 1/2 years into the age 65 change so most airlines should start seeing the retirements start. More so at the airlines that still have pensions.

Eric. As Super says we do. I will move up 8%+ a year starting in a few years, it is just getting there that hurts. I and super will go from mid level FO's to Widebody Captains in a period of five years.

Whats the B fund at now? I bet if the market keeps going up we will see the rats leave the ship.

Isn't part of their retirement based upon their highest pay in the last five years? Is it the highest or the average of the highest?

If it's the highest, it would seem to be better to wait for the new contract since I'm sure it will involve a healthy pay raise. I'm sure some of those guys are getting a little anxious since they are now into year four(?) of negotiations.
