Well the short answer.... They do have one plane sitting on the ramp at IAD (I have seen it with my own eyes) it is one of the two former XJ birds currently its plugged up with the full RON kit and not flying... As for the cert... well I talked to a Compass guy a few weeks ago and he told me that basically what has happened is a legal SNAFU... Lately the FAA has started to come down on companies buying dead 121 certs. and calling them a new airline.... So when the lawyers filed all the Compass paper work using the Indy certificate there were some mistakes made which the FAA caught and came down on leaving Compass in legal a limbo while the lawyers try to get this sorted out... Once the legal / certificate issues are sorted out they will unplug the CRJ sitting in IAD and start proving runs with it.... But that is all the compass news for now well see what the future brings......
