Can anyone look up the loads on UAL for the 10th and 11th of August, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if that one is full how is ORD on the same dates?

You do know that is awfully close to Obon? Narita has been a mess all summer. People at the end of July were getting stuck there days on end. I would just expect it to get worse the closer to Obon you get. Sorry I can't answer your question but good luck.

Truth. Took me two full days to get out of Narita last week. And could only get to HNL.

I thought that they would be full but that's pretty bad.. What is the policy for the economy overbooking? Do you guys upgrade economy passengers to business in case it is oversold?

It seems every few weeks the same question comes up about what a certain airlines policy is about oversold economy and open business/first class scenario. I believe it is a safe and resonable assumption that any revenue passenger will go before a non revenue passenger, no less an offline jumpseater. If I were you I would route via HNL on DL on the 10th. All flights look rather good at this point with low non revs listed. The 3 flights to HNL all leave late enough that you could even give a shot at the nonstops to the mainland first and if they fail, you got a damn good shot via HNL. Good luck!
