Default Omni?

Is Omni running classes right now? How long is their training program?

Any word on future interviews?

Thanks

Okay, now let's count how many seconds it is before someone points out that Omni isn't a major...

(For the record, I'm not doing so. Just getting tired of every post about an ACMI carrier getting jumped because some wiseacre feels it's in the wrong section. We'll all post in the ACMI section as soon as it exists.)

Good to hear that there's some movement out there.

I guess you're on the 757/767? Where do you usually fly those? Is that more senior than the DC10?

Currently you are hired into one fleet, very few people cross to the other. They had some 10 folks cross over to the Boeing side a year or so ago, but it does not happen often. Don't know of anyone who has ever gone from the Boeing side to the 10 side. As the union issues are worked out, that may change. Possible fleet changes may change that as well.

What are the normal trips on each aircraft? I know there is a lot of MAC flying, but what about other charters?

Is the main page accurate? Is it $51/hr with a 60 hour guarantee?

I figure I may be missing something since under 40K seems low for international heavy equipment. Wouldnt mind throwing an app in..just trying to get facts straight and ask those who actually know.

Also, on their hiring page it gives you an email. Do they simply want you to just email an attachment of your resume and cover letter?

I haven't been able to apply online; the link doesn't go anywhere, and the main employment page doesn't have a link for FO. Are they done accepting applications?

Sorry to say the figure is correct. I am hoping the Union can fix that and soon. Most of the flying is DOD with scheduled run LAS-HNL about 5 days a week. Shannon is a big stop for us. Lots of Kuwait, Germany, and the Stans.
Its hard to put a finger on where we wont go really. Lots of good people and the flying is not as bad as it sounds, at least as far as I am concerned. Could be better, could be worse.
