newK doesn't land long. The airplane stops wherever he intends it to.

The "so-called tug" I wonder if the author of this is an intern at the paper or just stupid?

If a C-17 can be powered back it schould be fairly easy for a diesel

Sometimes you just gotta think outside the box.

The B-17, which did not have reversible props, was occasionally "waddled" back. The act involved locking the left brakes while powering up #1 causing the aircraft to yaw right and pivot around the left main. The process was then repeated with the right brake and #4. Slow and cumbersome, it was rarely used.

I heard an AA MD83 is at least capable of pulling the nose wheel back on.
