How so? Because people will find other means of transport?

I was thinking the same, thats why I called my Management yesterday and asked they look into it. If they thought $150 oil was bad, add fleeing passengers with PTSD from a groping.

I'd suggest everyone put calls into management.

I see a lot of people are concerned with radiation on here, which I know nothing about, but just for the privacy issue I will NOT be going through one of these. If anyone hasn't seen the images, do yourself a favor and do a google images search for "new tsa xray". It is quite disturbing how much you can see. I'm not comfortable with some TSA person looking at every crevice of my body through that machine.

Actually, while you can see *plenty*, you don't see "every crevice" -- which is exactly why the body scanners are a complete waste of time, money, and rights... any would-be terrorists will simply hide bomb ingredients in said crevices until through security.

Only if the sheeple both know and care. Watching them march into the scanners and throw up a pyramid over their heads like Jay-Z without question or hesitation suggests that will not cost billions. Heck it could be argued that most actually like it because it "makes them safer" and after all, good little citizens bow down to anything. Especially when they "have nothing to hide."

(CNSNews.com) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has issued a travel warning to Muslim airline passengers on U.S. aircraft in response to the Transportation Safety Administration’s "enhanced pat down" policy that went into effect in late October.

CAIR said Muslims who object to full-body scans for religious reasons should know their rights if they are required to undergo a pat-down, including asking for the procedure to be done in a private place. In addition, CAIR offered a “special recommendation” for Muslim women who wear a hijab, telling them they should tell the TSA officer that they may be searched only around the head and neck.

“It is a violation of clear Islamic teaching that men or women be seen naked by other men and women,” the ruling states. “Islam highly emphasizes haya (modesty) and considers it part of the faith. The Qu’ran has commanded the believers, both men and women, to cover their private parts.”
