Great quote. As Michael pointed out in one of his interviews, it's not so much about him as it is his kids and government overstepping. Here's an example of what he's protesting.

I never once commented either way on how he has handled things since "the day" it happened. However, as with anything, sometimes it takes one person to stand up and say, "Enough is enough." I give him credit for taking a stand for our civil liberties. At least the media exposure resulted in some movement for crew members.
What does this have to do with big jets vs little jets?

Until now.

Ummm everyone remember that we are at war against an enemy who wants to destroy us right?

Sept 11 ended all of our fairyland visions of freedom as we knew it. And before you lambast me, I have been to Iraq twice, and know of what I speak of.

I know it would be nice to return to Sept 10, 2001. It just ain't happenin dudes.

Some of the comments here are just sad. REALLY sad.
+1 Sometimes, if you believe in what you are doing, there is a cost. Sometimes, there are rewards. I'd vote for a man of principal, in whatever our common endeavor, any day of the week.

THIS ISSUE has nothing to do with big jets vs. little jets. I was referring to the COMMENTS on this side of the house in the first page or so. I found the difference between the posts on this side of the forum and the regional side of the forum quite evident. I think, to a man, everyone on that side said, "Thanks...sent my money." On this side it was, "Wrong time to pick a fight" and such.

Isn't it funny how the Big Jet drivers are always so friendly and nice to us little jet drivers when they need a jump seat or ride to get to where they are going? But when they get off of our little jets all safe and sound at there destination, all bets are off! Just an observation.
It's not a big jet/little jet issue. If it were the little jets would easily win the A-hole award as fighter jets are little...but I digress.

Just sent my $50.00. Everyone who doesn't pony up should be ashamed of themselves.

So if people have different opinions on this it then becomes a big jet vs. little jet argument. There are going to be people who feel both ways at the majors and regionals. Don't even bring the big little thing up.

Why should they be ashamed? I'm curious.

Muy bien senior Barco... Now please enlighten us as to why are you of the opinion that we should be ashamed is you put it if we don't "pony up" some money.

Why not call for all nationwide pilot unions to set up a picket line in front of the Jet Express Check-In Counters with signs demanding that Mike be restored no only to the jet, but to full equity by imbursement of back pay and benefits. Don’t you think that’s a good compromise?
