I am an FO good seniority. I dont really care about upgrading I am a QOL guy. No matter where the AAI guys go my qol wont be affected either way. I will passs on upgrade for a while. But, I dont think AAI should get their cake and eat it too. I made more then probably 95% of AAI pilots last year and didnt have to work that hard. Why should a single AAI FO go above me? Not really sure about the CA. DOnt give me some garbage about upgrade times at AAI. That has been beat to death already. I have my ideas as to what I would like to see the SLI go, but we were asked not to discuss those so I wont.

Uh Mulcher....is this you NOT discussing your SLI ideas ?....Really ?

Umm, it would actually be "care less" and "that's" if you care to clean it up a bit. I've got more, if you're interested.;)

I'm just trying to understand. Both carriers fly 737s. How is relative position not fair? How would an arbitrator justify anything else? What is fair to you? Remember the ALPA merger policy below, cuts both ways.

The current ALPA Merger Policy includes the following admonition to merger
representatives, which this Board adopts as its guidelines in this proceeding:
…4. The merger representatives shall carefully weigh all the equities inherent in
their merger situation. In joint session, the merger representatives should
attempt to match equities to various methods of integration until a fair and
equitable agreement is reached, keeping in mind the following goals, in no
particular order:
a. Preserve jobs.
b. Avoid windfalls to either group at the expense of the other.
c. Maintain or improve pre-merger pay and standard of living.
d. Maintain or improve pre-merger pilot status.
e. Minimize detrimental changes to career expectations.

Does this mean the Allegiant guys should get relative senority with MD pilots if Delta were to buy them?

Comparing Allegiant to Delta is well, dumb. Two totally different airline operating models. What is the Allegient pilot's careers expectation? 777 or 747 captain ain't it!

But if it will make you happy, sure, fence em off anything bigger than the Maddogs. Same for Alaska. Nothing bigger than the 737s. I guess the AAI guys could push for a fence around the 717s.........
