Payscales Spreadsheet
 

As many have done at the career crossroads, I have made a comparison spreadsheet for airline compensation longevity x hourly x guarantee ..summed together over remaining years of flying til 65. Result is career earnings. I understand this is making an assessment out of a snapshot and many other variables exist. At this time I would ask at what longevity scale does each carrier place Captain upgrades..year 1 or years at company... This includes companies listed in Major, Cargo and Charter. Any input is appreciated.
Format suggestion Carrier/ CA upgrade longevity scale/ estimated average monthly scheduled hours when holding a line, i.e
US Airways/actual year/85 -or-
US Airways/year one/85

Wasn't there a website that had all of this info out a few years ago. It let you input your estimates for holing CA, WB FO, 401K match, etc and would give you a spreadsheet that was adjustable for any and all changes you could think of?

At essentially all US airlines you use your actual company longevity on the CA scale. There might be one exception IIRC.

I expected a "wise" input WAY before this..the webiste has provided my spreadsheet data...but if it shows where in the longevity scale you are placed at upgrade..I'm not seeing it...thought most would be "at company"..sounds like that is the case... thanks for not disappointing me with ur input...almost thought no one was reading it..HA!

When you upgrade, you maintain the same longevity. You don't start over at year 1. There may be a few airlines that have exceptions.
