Default Southwest Confirmation E-Mail

Now that the window has closed, has anyone gotten the confirmation e-mail that your application was submitted? I figured I could start a thread and we all could post here when we receive something.

I don't think you'll receive an email that your app was received. I'm pretty sure as soon as you created a username/password they already had it. You were simply updating it when you filled it all out.

Whether you'll receive an email or a phone call for the invite to Dallas is anyone's guess. It wouldn't have surprised me if they had started sending out the invites today, but if no one has received one yet ... probably not. My guess is they'll start going out either later this week or Monday next week.

Best of luck to everyone that applied!!

I sent an e-mail to swaprofile asking the question of when I would receive a confirmation. They replied:

"...your confirmation of completion is the green checkmarks. I just reviewed your profile, you are good to go!"

I don't think they will be sending out a confirmation notice. So long as you have all green checks, I think you should consider your application to have been successfully submitted.

Works for me. I just remember Gina's e-mail saying that we'd get some sort of confirmation once the PC part was completed. Now, I sit and wait for the invite to interview.

Anyone have any idea when they might start calling for interviews?

The confirmation email was the email that you should have received from pilotcredentials verifying your email. If you have "green checks" then you're good.

Sure it really is a challenge and response checklist. Don't forget SWA is the only carrier with big planes, no baby planes chasing them around the system. Southwest always pulls out on time.
