An interesting take, to say the least... He makes some good points you won't hear from the horrid aviation media.

Got a buddy at CAL who says some kind of memo came out lately reassuring their employees that they won't be thrown to the wolves in the event of a merger with UAL. I can't believe CAL would actually consider trying to digest United. Can you say 4500 pilot lay-offs? Presumably if they merge Delta and NW will begin flirting with the same deal. Should make for good sequel to "Hard Landing."

Anyone know how long you can be on furlough at CAL? UAL is ten years.
