Default Latest and Greatest, JFK, LGA, PHL, EWR?

Some airports supposed to reopen at 16:00. Any updates?

Latest news... TSA says they can not get to work until mass transit opens. No reported facility damage. Just waiting for the TSA to be able to take the bus to work

Most workers and passengers won't be able to get to the airports in NYC til the mass transit gets up and running and the roads are cleared. Almost no reason to own a car there.

Latest NOTAM shows JFK and EWR opening at 6am on the 29th, LGA an hour later.

Like it was mentioned earlier, there's no reason to open the airport if nobody can get there. If there's no crews, gate, ramp, ARFF, TSA, ATC there to work the flights, it's pointless in reopening the airport.

It could be fun to take a Cessna 172 and do touch and goes at LGA and then go over to JFK and do the same and then head over to EWR and get a couple in.

That'd be one hell of a logbook entry.

Only problem...JFK ground would have had you taxi off, go to some obscure holding point on the airfield, and wait...by then, your Cessna would be out of gas and you couldn't get back to the active or the gate.

Yep. Much better to first hit EWR, then LGA, with JFK last. Just in case. Alt
