Just curious. I was with family for Thanksgiving in Lawton, OK last week. I don't remember exactly which day it was (maybe Wednesday?), I saw an SWA 737 turning final for runway 17 at LAW (Lawton Municipal Airport). The weather was IFR and it looked like he was circling to land off the ILS to 35 (There's no instrument approach to 17 because of the Ft. Sill restricted airspace north of the airport.) Anyway, that airport is only served by AMR Eagle. Any of you SWA guys know if this was perhaps a military charter or maybe an emergency landing?
Again, just curious. Lawton is my hometown and I'm pretty sure SWA has not started service there. It really made me do a double take when I saw an SWA 737 turning final there!

A company I used to work at was doing some charter work in/out of Lawton in a DC-9 recently. I happen to be having lunch with some guys from there tomorrow, I'll ask what's so exciting about Lawton that they were in and out with -9s there.
Maybe SWA was subbing for them/someone else that day.

Cool! Thanks for looking that up. (I didn't know you could use Flightaware to do that.) Military charter was definitely my best guess.

Go to flightaware, put in LAW in the airport box on bottom left, go to arrivals, hit MORE in blue, then hit Next 20 to scroll down until you hit the date. Do the same for departures and you'll find the flight to DAL.
