Default SIN-NRT or HKG-BKK jumpseating

Does anyone know if it is possible to occupy the jumpseat on UA or NW SIN-NRT? If not, anyone know of a way to jumpseat on the two routes mentioned?

As quoted from NWA Flt Ops Manual, page 3.40.4, "Internationl OAL (offline airline) flight deck jumpseating is prohibited".

But, you can cabin jumpseat on international flights. Hope this helps.

Same with UA: Offline (Intl.) jumpseating in the cockpit is not allowed, if a cabin seat is available then you can OMC. That said I wouldn't make plans to go to BKK via NRT on the jumpseat - that flight is ALWAYS full.
