Default hiring minimums

I have searched the Internet as well as APC & have came up empty handed on hiring minimums for US Airways. I know they aren't hiring now, so the info is not on their website, but just to get an idea of what they are looking for.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

I think it's just ATP mins. Of course more to be competitive.

If they are not currently hiring, previous minimums are irrelevant. Things change and minimums change every time a hiring wave starts.

Competitive mins are probably about the same as they are for any other major/legacy. Published mins are only really the basic requirements for the job, not what it takes to get an interview.

I'd guess competitive mins are probably along the lines of...

4000-5000TT
1000 TPIC (Having it be in a jet can't hurt)
A 4 year degree
Current turbine flying job
1-2 recommendations from US Airways pilots

With how few people they're hiring right now and the fact that thousands out there meet those requirements, what you really probably need is something special on your resume that sets you apart. Training department, management, having the right connection, etc can't hurt thats for sure.
