Default ID20 - Is it for real?

Anyone have any info on this proposition? Is it actually going to happen? If so, am I correct in that it would allow us to purchase tickets at 20% off the lowest fare and have a positive space seat?

Sounds like a great deal if it actually comes to fruition.

ID90's (90 percent off FULL coach fare and ID75s (75% off) are NOT positive space seats. I have never bought an ID20 so not sure there? Who offers positive space IDs?

so ID20 is twenty percent off and a confirmed seat. I think american offers that to employees to book friends. i worked for DH (Indy air) and we had that options for friends along side the buddy pass. the ID20 was a confirmed seat. that was for twenty percent off the lowest price. it was a really good deal. i dont think they offer it as an interline agreement yet.

I hadn't heard that it actually existed yet. Everyone I have asked has said that it was an idea but wasn't actually available yet. Just curious as I may well be headed over to the Fragrant Harbour soon and this will be my best travel option.

We have that at United as well. Always good to have during the peak travel season!

DAL has had it for years. 20% off the lowest advertised price[whatever that is]. Confirmed seat, Sky Miles. Only good for employee[or retired] and spouse.
