That's funny. I'm always offered the full can. If they don't offer and I really want it, then I politely ask for it. Never received a no answer. My experience on Southwest has been my drink order is taken, then brought to me on a tray already in a cup. If I want the can, I politely ask for it. Never received a no answer. Maybe it's all in the approach. ;)
And very few things annoy me more than someone who really loves using the PA. |

DL picked NW IT people for the most part to go forward- the previous DL system was selected since it was SAP over the NW system, as the DL system is more adaptable to the changes and improvements we have seen over the the past 4 years.

I am not sure if she purposely sang like that in order to be funny or if that is her real voice. Doesn't matter though because that was pretty painful. What I don't get is why anyone would encourage her by applauding. Sure Mom and Dad might applaud when they are children but by now she should realize she has NO talent. I will certainly tell her myself if I ever hear something like that. I might not be very diplomatic either.
The Oscar Does God have a return policy? If he gave me that voice, I'd give it back. I think you may have just blown a massive opportunity by being forgettable. I could sell you as a sleeping aid. I've never heard anything more boring in my life. Shave off your beard and wear a dress. You would be a great female impersonator. If your lifeguard duties were as good as your singing, a lot of people would be drowning. You came in, you called yourself champagne and you sounded like house wine. I presume there was no mirror in your dressing room tonight. My advice would be if you want to pursue a career in the music business, don't. If you had sung like this 2,000 years ago, people would have stoned you. You look a little odd, your dancing is terrible, the singing was horrendous, and you look like one of those creatures that live in the jungle with the massive eyes. What do they call those? Bush babies. ---Simon Cowell ahhhh... but if just ONE PERSON says that was great... |

WN did not pick the more adaptable IT system and just went with the same stuff without adequate planning or foresight since the WN way is always the right way.
But why should I try and inform you about any of this since it is painfully obvious that you are the all knowing authority on all things Southwest. |

They actually decided that neither system was adequate, hence the need for a completely new one.

Now I am certain that no one is making fun of the way AT was backed into a corner and had to sell their soul so they can feel the LUV. It just is not in their heart that they are feeling it!:D |

And of course Shoelu has absolutely no response to that last comment about the AT guys.
I was against any acquisition from the start. I was obviously not consulted, just as I'm sure you were not. I expected the union that represents me to earn their dues revenue and protect my best interests to the best of their ability. I expected nothing less than their best effort to secure the best deal they thought possible in the specific situation with the specific set of circumstances. I was one man with one vote and I voted in a manner that I saw fit to best protect my career and my family. In the end I was only a pawn in this big chess game. I was not on the Board of Directoes that approved the deal. I was not on the negotiating commitee that brokered a deal between the unions. My biggest part of this was my one vote. I fully realize that the folks on the AirTran side had just as little influence or even less than I in this process. I have no ill will toward any of them and will welcome them to the Southwest side of the partition. |
