Going into Key West
Hey DW,
The other day we had a UPS pilot in the jumpseat going to Key West. This was his 1st time on the ATR. When we were on short final you should have seen him do the sphincter dance. I guess he wasn't aware of the deck angle for landing. One of the best landings for the whole trip and I literally heard him exhale in relief.
Anything you can do with that?

I'll see....start a three day, tomorrow, so I will have a little commuting time.....experienced the same thing riding the jumpseat on a CRJ last summer....took me half an hour to get rid of the thong that my boxers had become.....that thing has a major nose down attitude on final.....

It was a weird transition from flying that lawn dart CRJ to the nose up Mighty Maddog. Made for a couple stellar landings during my OE!!
