You seem to be the one who's serious. I'm rather enjoying this!
I explained the sit and spin remark, was taken out of context. We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

I never insinuated that you HAD to be drunk to be a certain pilot's son, only that if I was a certain pilot's son the I would PROBABLY be drunk. Big difference there.

Enjoying this myself too, we have a good back-and-forth you and I.
Cheers.

Boomer, you're probably a bit too old, but if you promise not hit on my 13 yr old daughter, and let me regale you with 1980s flying sagas, we'll take you in. You have to read the chronological releases and respond to the pop quizes enroute.

My wife is also off limits. That being said, we need to adopt a Comair kid, our guilt is deep, you up wif it?

You have been on an insistent rampage of starting threads that justify, rationalize, and reinforce your voting opinion. Its almost as if you have your own personal agenda here. I would find it inappropriate regardless of which side of the debate it fell on.

I know the way I'm voting, i've come to that decision, but at the end of the day whichever way this vote goes I certainly won't lose any sleep over it. If majority of the pilot group sees it differently than I, so be it. I'm not going to trivialize the work our negotiators have done here because I definitely see a lot of the benefits in this TA, but I also feel as though it reduces a lot of leverage going forward. That's just one opinion of 12,000, so a grain of salt may be more than it's worth.
Excellent post - I took the more extreme option of putting Bill on my ignore list (who knows - maybe I'm on someone's ignore list).

I can guarantee I'm probably a bit too old to hit on your 13yr old daughter

How about we introduce my 13 yr old son to your 13 year old daughter, watch them closely, and if he acts like such a fool that we're laughing our butts off, then we're headed in the right direction.

And you can tell me all about dodging potholes on Carribbean runways in the mountain magnet.

FWIW, the 717 is 18 years old. First Flight July 1994.

LOL this thread is classic! A poor misinformed 15 year old that is in over his head posting on an Airline Pilot Forum (I'll cut him a break, I did it when I was 15 too!) turns into a hate on about Bill.
