It's way more than 2 things. We haven't been able to have a full section 6 for over a decade. We work for the world's most profitable airline and is forecast by our management to remain that way. The is NOT the time to be agreeing to an extension to a bankruptcy contract! This is NEVER the time to show management that we are afraid of a section 6.

Surprised no one has said this:

Two items eh?

Section 1

Rest of the agreement.

:D

Agree, but you know our union will only fix a small fraction if needed too.

There are far more than two line items that need to be fixed if this fails, and that is a big if.

Only 2?

1. Hmmmm. I could go for work rules, staffing rules, pay, etc, but really if you don't take care of scope then you don't need to worry about how much you'll get paid or how long you'll be working if you don't have a job to go to.

So, for #1, I say keep the 1.56 ratio but change 1.D.9 as follows:

1.D.9. The Company will maintain a minimum ratio of revenue block hours of Company flying on all mainline aircraft seating less than 120 passengers (MBH) to revenue block hours of flying in category A and C operations (DBH) as follows:
a. On September 1, 2012, a min ratio of 1.56.
....
e. The Company will only be excused from compliance with the minimum ratio of MBH to DBH if the total DCI fleet is reduced to 0 airframes.
1) Compliance with the minimum ratio of MBH to DBH will be reviewed monthly,
2) In the event a circumstance over which the Company does not have control is the cause of noncompliance, the ratio will increase to 5.0.
3) Once the ratio has increased, such ratio number shall not be reduced.

2. Do whatever George says must be done to fix the JV.

MrBojangles 06-25-2012 10:59 AM

the ALV+15 on reserve needs to go back to how it is now.
no more big RJ's.

I'll vote yes if Lawnchair quits is his insistent fear mongering campaign.

1.) Make a way for the pilots who fly the new 76 seaters to come onto the Delta seniority list WITH the airplanes. (can happen after a certain amount of time if need be).

2.) Remove reserves being able to be assigned ALV +15 hours.

Those are the main two. But, there are a lot more points that should be addressed.
