What it sounds like is that the 47 was taxiing and struck the 757 being pushed? Newark is having all sorts of ground trouble lately

geeeesh, your thread title sounds like the exaggerated way the media presents aviation news. i thought ppl were dead, and the article says "bump"

And I doubt if it happened on a runway as the article states, if one was taxiing and the other was being towed to an overnight parking area.

Maybe it bumped into the same 757 that landed on the taxi way? That would be interesting.

Ok .....Thats all cnn said when i came up with the post, It had just happened, for all i no when i typed this is that some could have been dead. So dont bust me there.


I wouldnt doubt one bit these guys were lined up, and had a gust hit them and push them over and they decided to drop it at the last minute instead of going around. And if thats the cause, they dont need to return to the line. But if it was a straight error, there could be some reason that is good enough to coa and the faa
