My question is: How will this affect Comair?

Doug Parker is known to dislike RJ's, especially 50's. I think turboprops will be safe under his auspices.

The timing of this proposal is a little transparent...I think it was timed to occur before DL could issue the award for the new/modified regional flying. If DL makes any committments now (after the Ch. 11 filing), Parker would be obligated to honor them if he acquired DL.

Now that this is on the table, the BK judge will likely not approve the award of any regional flying until the acquisition is resolved.

Doug Parker has certain regional(s) in mind that he does NOT want to have any part in his future... (4 letters, starts with "M").
