Default US Aiways Merger presentation

Now available in the downloads section; the US Airways 8K filing (investor presentation).

It's a pdf document that contains the justification and preliminary projections of the proposed LCC/DAL merger.

It is significant that they say they will pay the highest common pay for each labor group. This seems to be the first time I have seen something like that in writing.

Wait until the lawyers get a hold of it The way I read it is that their "model" is based on the highest labor costs - a far cry from planning to pay the current highest rate.

Just call me a cynic but I hope your interpretation is right.

Until Parker asks for givebacks after the merger in exchange for less shrinkage.

Has Parker reneged on any deals with labor on the AmWest/USAir merger?
