A company is made by its employees, when people understand that and work towards a union mentality ( and try to correct its own flaws ) and among other things of course, this profession will improve.

bingo. It all comes down to greedy managers that think they need to double profits every year.

If you get three offers for someone to paint your house and choose the lowest bid (assuming all other factors remain the same) does that make your greedy?
Or if you have a glut of employees and your competitors have lowered their prices and you lower yours does that make you evil?
It's just business. And yes, some people have a moral flaw and are greedy. You can't legislate that.
Hoping that people will be more moral (less greedy) is like hoping people will be less vain.
While I don't disagree with you the desire for [I]unrealistic[I] profits spurred on by short sighted wall street investors is a problem, it has many more causes than simple "greed." See previous posts.
BTW, not offense is intended, but I think you answer is simplistic and not economically founded.
