That boat has since sprung a few leaks. Doubtful if it would stay afloat at this time.

The idea sounds fun, but I wouldn't do it. Toilets on boats are not the most capable systems. Who is going to help you replace the stators in your toilet pumps when they go bad from the extra use?

Do you have Raycore air conditioning? All it takes is one of those water exchange lines to break from extended use and your bilge pumps will be beyond capacity in no time.

What happens when you have a seacock fail? Will your tenants know how to identify which seacock failed and how to turn it off? What systems will be affected if you close that seacock and how will they be damaged if you don't deactivate them?

Living on a boat requires a different code of conduct and you don't want people without that experience living aboard—they'll hurt the boat and do more to harm the value than you'll be able to collect.

Oh boy, and dont get me started on the GTC cockspring. If that thing is not synced at the correct rate then the Boyleston Nuthinge goes all whacky which of course everyone knows is tied to the Schnieder bolt plug which will just ruin your day cause now you have to go to the marine store to get the Brenner wrench just to make the right adjustments even though the splinner plugs are supposed to balance themselves automatically but they never do. Yeah, you are gonna need a seasoned sailor to occupy that boat, probably someone like flybywire.

I wouldn't worry about that. It's all ball bearings these days.

Fun thread, but the ad for the rental boat has been removed from Craigslist.
