There's also a money game at kapalua or kaanapali every day. Call kapalua pro shop to see where it is that day. You need to be a 10 handicap or less. It's called "Da Game". Good time and you only pay the local rate.

A good budget course is pukalani golf club in upcountry. The greens there break towards the windmills.
Kahili Golf Course is another recommendation. Beautiful views.
Wailea Old Blue is an excellent course. Though, it makes you wonder how people can afford such beautiful houses!
I haven't played the plantation course and it currently looks like it is undergoing maintenance. Still open, although, I wouldn't pay the outrageous price to place there unless it was in tip top shape.
No matter how you play just remember, you're in Maui!
From my experience the greens are slow and often don't break where you expect it to. Use golfnow.com, they have some great deals.
